George Price became the president of the George C. and Kristi M. Price Foundation at its founding in November 2011. The foundation provides grants to nonprofit entities in the areas of education, the arts, music, historic preservation, veterans' issues and other areas of interest to the Price family. The foundation and the Price family support humanitarian projects in various parts of the world.
George price is also president and chief executive officer of the Belle Isle Company, a company he founded January of 2009. Price works directly with buyers and sellers and others in the purchase and sale of commodities including gold bullion and oil. Prior to that time, Price practiced law in Denver, Colorado, specializing in employment, civil rights, education, personal injury, real estate development and criminal law.
Besides his work with the foundation, George C Price Denver serves and has served on several nonprofit boards, has worked with the federal government on matters related to disaster response and recovery and actively volunteers with several Denver area nonprofit organizations. GeorgePrice Denver is a 1974 graduate of The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado and a 1980 graduate of the University of Denver, College of Law.
